Description

The KV-2 is a modification of the KV-1 that mounted an M-10T howitzer (152 mm) to provide infantry support against fortified positions. It reached 52 tons due to the weight of the huge gun and the bulky turret heavily armored with 75 mm of steel. It was not intended to fight against other armored vehicles but was feared due to the devastating power of its 152 mm shell the KV-2. It can practically be considered an assault gun.
